A sculpture that reimagines past narratives and asserts personal agency. Ophelia rises. Rewriting how we shape and are shaped by our shared histories, defining our own past and future.
Poised in a stance of emergence, “Ophelia Rising. Rewritten” embodies resilience, visibility, and sensitivity to belonging.
Rooted in emotional connection and lived experience, the work unfolds through observation and conversation, exploring how we exist within society, culture, and the natural world. Reflecting on difference, marginalisation, and what it means to be seen, heard, and valued, she reveals a personal layered expression of vulnerability, strength, and identity.
