Anchored on steel, clay from the earth, sealed by fire. Closed eyes against the relentless gaze. Between silence and storm. Porcupine quills mark heritage, armour, defiance. This sculpture, inspired by my travels and urban life, explores identity, masculinity, and the unspoken strength that is endured within the chaos of culture, societal expectations, and navigating our past, present and future lives.
